Overheard tonight while in the front yard, watching two 6-yr-old boys play on their bikes:
First Boy: Do you want to come over and play? Or maybe I can come over to YOUR house and play!
Second Boy: If you come to MY house, you will have to be careful.
First Boy: Why's that??
Second Boy: 'Cause I don't want you to break my collection of buddhas and deities.
(and it was at this point all of us mothers - sans his - stopped to stare, and then of course, I started giggling ...)
